We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cloud Security Engineer Manager to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role focuses on the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-class application-centric micro-segmentation services, offering an exceptional opportunity to lead initiatives that safeguard critical business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical interface and subject matter expert on micro-segmentation and zero-trust principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including application, infrastructure, and vendor teams—to support product integration and deployment phases.
- Assist in the design and implementation of zero trust architectures to protect vital assets from emerging cyber threats.
- Lead the initiative for implementing micro-segmentation in alignment with a comprehensive multi-year program.
- Identify and address new service requirements to enhance our Zero Trust strategy.
- Facilitate troubleshooting and support efforts for the micro-segmentation service.
Required Skills
- In-depth understanding of micro-segmentation vendor solutions.
- Proficient in deploying and fine-tuning micro-segmentation security policies.
- Knowledgeable in traffic analysis utilizing tools such as Wireshark.
- Familiar with virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
- Experienced with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, GCP, or AWS.
- Understanding of application tiering architecture and communication protocols.
- Proficient in both Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with the Zero Trust Framework and NIST 800-207 guidelines.
- Experience collaborating effectively with various management levels and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of IaaS, SDN, and container technologies.
- Competent in designing and managing firewalls and other network segmentation tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or BASH.
- Skills in system forensics and investigation techniques.
- Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CCNA).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Cyber Security, specifically focusing on micro-segmentation.
- At least 1 year of experience in a team leadership or project management capacity.

Compensation And Benefits
The salary range for this position is approximately \(113,100 to \)232,300, determined by various factors including skills, experience, and organizational needs. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package aimed at supporting your professional growth and overall well-being.
